February 10, 2014

Manila, Philippines- FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. successfully launched X-T1 via a series of events held at Glorietta Activity Center from February 1-4, 2014.

Spearheaded by FFPH President Takashi Sasaki, the new flagship product was unveiled before twenty three (23) media practitioners during the first day of the launch. X- Photographer Philippines Ambassadors Niko Villegas and Rommel Bundalian graced the occasion to share their experiences using X-T1 in the fields of fashion and street photography, respectively. Highlighted during the presentation were the unique selling propositions of X-T1 such as but not limited to its ergonomic design, Picture in Picture function of the EVF, water-resistance capability, and colour management feature.

After the media launch, consumer unveiling followed. More than one hundred photographers per day for three days -professionals and hobbyists alike, graced the event. Free workshops from the ambassadors, live shoots, and experiential marketing were simultaneously held at the FUJIFILM booth. Sample photos of Rommel Bundalian shot at Mount Pulag (Luzon’s highest peak at 2,922 meters above sea level) were showcased.

The X-T1 launch coincided with Photoworld Asia 2014, the biggest gathering for photographers in country.
