FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. Introduces the Photo Cleaning Tips Website for Damaged Photo by the Strongest Typhoon Hit the Philippines

MANILA, Philippines, December 21, 2012 ― FUJIFILM Philippines Inc. announces the introduction of tips for Cleaning Damaged Photos website for consumers, located at: www.fujifilm.com/support/photo_cleaning/.
FUJIFILM Philippines Inc., would like to offer sincere sympathy for those who were affected by the typhoon Pablo (Bopha) hit the southern Philippines recently, and wishes soonest recovery. At the same time, the company also wishes to share the experiences which have been acquired through the recovery process after the earthquake and tsunami occurred in Japan last year, by which many precious photographs were damaged and washed away. Based on the necessity of recovery of those priceless photos which were damaged, FUJIFILM Corporation, Japan launched its Photo Rescue Project at that time and achieved the recovery of many damaged photos.
This photo cleaning tip can be accessed through our corporate website and it includes advices on cleaning water-damaged photos and negative films. The site also offers the advices on cleaning several types of photo prints such as dye sublimation photos, like kiosk or instant print photos; and inkjet photos, like those from home printers. Also included is a demonstration video providing viewers with step-by-step instruction.
